Save the Date: CitiesAlive 20th Anniversary Conference in Toronto - November 6-9, 2024

Green Roofs for Healthy Cities is thrilled to announce that the 20th Anniversary of CitiesAlive, the multi-disciplinary green roof, wall and infrastructure conference, will be held in the City of Toronto from November 6-9, 2024. CitiesAlive is also accepting session and paper proposals, submit one here!

This milestone event marks 20 years since the inaugural CitiesAlive co-hosted by the City of Chicago in 2023. CitiesAlive 2024 promises to be an exceptional experience. So save the date, you won’t want to miss this event!

CitiesAlive provides a unique platform for attendees to connect with researchers, manufacturers, architects, landscape architects and other design experts!  It allows you to foster new Business-to-Business and Business-to-Consumer business opportunities through tje trade fair and fantastic networking opportunities. This truly multi-disciplinary event is geared towards architects, landscape architects, design professionals, specifiers, researchers, policymakers, and students who share an interest in Living Architecture and Green Infrastructure. 

At CitiesAlive 2024 we will also be unveiling new training programs and the first ever Installer Olympics contest!

Toronto is the largest city in Canada and fourth largest in North America. The region boasts a population of approximately 6.3 million which will serve as the vibrant backdrop for CitiesAlive 2024. Green infrastructure initiatives in Toronto have grown over the years and the City is now home to over 10 million trees, and has 18% of its surface area dedicated to parks. As a pioneer in green roofs, Toronto implemented North America's first green roof bylaw in 2009, which has resulted in over 10 million square feet of green roofs installed.
