Hunter Industries Launches Redesigned Point-Source Emitters

Sourced from Hunter Industries

To enhance their industry-leading micro irrigation offering, Hunter Industries has updated their HE and HEB family of Point-Source Emitters with new colors that blend seamlessly into the surrounding environment.

Hunter point source drip emitters apply water slowly and directly at the plant to ensure every drop is put to efficient use. They are available in three convenient styles including self-piercing barb, 10⁄32 threaded, and ½" female pipe thread (FPT). All styles are available in flows of 0.5, 1.0, 2.0, 4.0, and 6.0 GPH. This wide range of flow rates offers you the flexibility to give individual plants and trees the right amount of water from single or multiple point source drip emitters. They are also color-coded for fast flow identification and feature coined edges for easy gripping during installation.

An optional diffuser cap is available to help gently distribute water at high GPH flow and to protect the emitter outlet from clogging. Manufactured by Hunter in the USA, these emitters offer the ability to enhance both water and operational efficiency in any micro-irrigation zone.

New Design, Best-in-Class Performance

The redesigned emitters offer a range of benefits for top performance in any micro irrigation project:

  • Maximum efficiency: Apply water slowly at the base of the plant to conserve water.

  • Visual verification: Choose from five earth-tone color options, each representing a different flow.

  • Ideal for slopes: Check valve holds back up to 12' of head (HEB emitters with check valve only).

  • Optional diffuser cap: Gently distributes water with an incoming high flow rate while preventing clogging and erosion.

  • Made in the USA: Manufactured in our state-of-the-art ISO 9001:2015 certified facility.

For total design flexibility, the emitters are available in self-piercing ¼" barb, 10-32 threaded, and ½" FPT options with five flow rates: 0.5, 1.0, 2.0, 4.0, and 6.0 GPH.
