Green Roofs for Healthy Cities Announces New Board Members for 2022

As the year comes to an end, Green Roofs for Healthy Cities is excited to announce our new board members! We believe they’ll be excellent assets to the board, and can’t wait to see their ideas implemented next year. It was a great year for green roofs, walls, and infrastructure, and we know that 2022 will be even better!

Congratulations to our three new board members.

 

Joshua Barnes, is the new Chair - Corporate Members Committee, GRHC. He’s also the Sales Manager with Permaloc Corporation, the world’s leading manufacturer of high-performance landscape edging and restraint systems. He brings over twenty years of experience in developing and maintaining strategic partnerships.

 

Meghan Blackson, GRP, is the new Emerging Professionals Representative, GRHC. She’s also a Landscape Designer with Rana Creek, an award-winning ecological design company. She holds dual Master's Degrees in Architecture and Science in Architecture and Environmental Design, completing a research thesis on green roofs.

 

Charles Ormsby, is the new Director, GRHC. He’s also a Senior Civil Engineer - Municipal Infrastructure with ARUP a global design, engineering, and planning firm. He brings over ten years of experience planning, designing and delivering green infrastructure on projects around the world.

These leaders will help steer the direction of Green Roofs for Healthy Cities over the coming years. We look forward to their insight and additions.
