Urban sustainability and resilience have never been more crucial, and the Grey to Green Conference aims to address these challenges head-on. As a leader in green infrastructure, GRHC has collaborated with New York City to drive the adoption of green roof mandates and incentives, aiming to achieve the ambitious goal of 12% green roof coverage by 2050 as described in the comprehensive GHG reduction plan, Project Drawdown.

The conference will start on October 23, and will be set against the backdrop of the scenic Brooklyn Grange - Sunset Park urban rooftop farm. On October 24, New York Green Roofs will host the "Green Roof Installation & Maintenance Professional Training" (GRIMP) program and certification aimed at providing hands-on training alongside expert presentations on green roof system implementation and maintenance.  Registration is $495 and includes one full day of training, a visit to a local green roof, 2.5 hours of online instruction, a digital resource manual, one attempt at the one hour online exam, and a one year individual membership in GRHC.  This limited-registration session equips professionals with the skills and knowledge needed to play a pivotal role in building and maintaining a variety of different green roofs.
