New In-Person Course and Certification Program 

After more than two years of development, the Green Roof Installation and Maintenance Professional (GRIMP) Training and Certification program is designed to provide participants with hands-on experience installing a variety of different green roof systems, and a wide range of planting types. The hands-on and on-line training provide green roof installers and maintenance professionals with the information, techniques, and best practices necessary to successfully install and maintain green roofs. Registration for any In-Person GRIMP Training and Certification courses includes:

  • Unlimited access to online course recordings

  • Hands-on training with a selection of green roof modules

  • Digital resource manual

  • One attempt at the online multiple choice GRIMP Exam - one hour

  • One year of GRHC Individual Membership

Green Infrastructure in North America Manual - New Policy Resource Launching Early July!

The Green Roofs for Healthy Cities 2023 Policy Guide is designed to provide professionals in the green infrastructure industry with information about where to source supportive policies and programs for green roof and wall installation across North America. It is also designed as a resource for policy makers and advocates that are interested in establishing or updating green roof and wall policies and programs.

This new manual will be available to download in the first week of July, 2023 here.
